Time to whine about those iapps that don't behave as they should. Like:
- Apple's onscreen keyboard. Where's the asterisk? I know, it's in the #+= section. And where's that? After the .?123 button. Why not put it, along with # $ £ and @ above some handy letter like Q. Why not Z? becoz I need to put accents on the zs when I cite Slavoj Žižek>. Wait, there aren't any.
- And when are we going to get navigation arrows on the keyboard?
- Flipboard's page management. Flipboard was my iPad showstopper if not quite killer app: it may not have done something so different you have to buy the machine that does it (think Lotus 123) but it made such good use of the iPad's capabilities you could convince almost anyone they needed an iPad by showing them Flipboard. But why can't it remember what pages I've seen and remove them from my journal if I want? Now the experience is like reading a 200-page newspaper full of stories I don't want to read. Today I go to Newsify first or to Feedemon on my PC.
